Recently I’ve learned how important it is to be writing down goals and practicing creative free writing. Set a timer, pick a topic (or don’t), and start writing. Don’t pick up your pen until the timer goes off. This exercise helps me visualize my thoughts which makes sketching and ideation easier. In addition to this I have been writing down my goals in health, relationships, vocation, and time every week. Don’t sweat the small stuff, if your thoughts are more focused on your overarching dreams (thinking of yourself achieving everything you’ve ever wanted) you can easily let go of anxiety related to smaller things.
